At MacLellan Books, we believe your sketchbook is your private domain. This Privacy Policy outlines how OptiSketch handles your data.
OptiSketch is a strictly local application running entirely within your web browser. We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any artwork you create. When you export a PNG or save an .OPTI project file, that processing happens locally on your device.
To provide a seamless experience, OptiSketch uses your browser's Local Storage to save your tool settings, custom brush presets, and UI preferences (such as collapsed menus). This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's cache and site data.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our application. This service collects basic, anonymous data (such as page views, device type, and browser version). This helps us improve the performance of OptiSketch. No personally identifiable information or artistic data is tracked.
If we introduce new features that require data processing (such as cloud syncing), we will update this policy and notify users accordingly. Until then, your sketchbook remains completely offline and private.
